Crossover's Mark Hopkins, Matt Peace and Chris Hobart spent a very useful day at the Retail Business Technology Expo today, garnering huge amounts of inspiration from the latest trends and innovations. Business development manager, Mark Hopkins, said the trip was well worth-while and "pretty inspiring".
"There was some really advance stuff at the Expo, and it was amazing to see innovations such as facial recognition and queue management in practice", said Mark. "The face of retail is changing rapidly due to new technologies, so you've got to stay ahead of the game, and think about what your customers will want. For example, we talked to exciting companies who are developing cutting edge payment solutions and accounting packages. Crossover is already looking at exciting products for our users, including automated marketing emails, as well as business insight and reporting tools, that can disseminate data to make it easier to understand, and use".
