Customers First at Carnoustie


July's edition of The PGA Professional magazine is out today. See pages 36-37 for our interview with Head PGA Pro Colin Sinclair from Carnoustie Links as he prepares for the Open Championship next month.

We caught up with Colin for a behind-the-scenes snapshot of life at Carnoustie during The Open, and to garner some of the secrets behind running one of the UK's most successful pro shops. In the article, Colin gives us a great insight into his approach to the customer experience, stock management (when 70% of your customers are guests), the impact of his new indoor facilities, and essential retail tips for pro shop owner managers.

What's more, Colin has been an XPOS user in the pro shop for over 5 years. He says, "I don't know what I'd do without XPOS. It has very much changed the way we do things. The management reporting is key for me. XPOS tells me what I need to know in an instant. It's also simple to use and new staff members pick it up quickly".
