And the Awards go to ..

 

It was girl power last week at the South West PGA Regional meeting when PGA Professional Emma Brown, won, not one, but 3 awards! Not only is she a busy coach, but Emma has raised over £20,000 for some great charities.

Emma is a freelance pro based at The Kendleshire Golf Club, near Bristol, and approached us a few months ago for help with her business. We've since worked with her on helping to set goals and plan for her business, make budgets, and marketing.

Last year Emma started to receive a subsidy to teach groups of older people each week that the council refers to her. The sessions have become really popular and it’s something she would like to do more of. It's not the most profitable route for a freelancer, but it's the part of her job that Emma loves the most.

One of the 3 awards she received was the Toby Sunderland Award for Charity, for her work with disadvantaged children, having introduced so many to the game they now love
