Sue Humphries
Sales Executive
What does your typical day look like at Crossover?
My day at Crossover is quite varied speaking to both new and existing customers. My main role is speaking with Golf Pros who do not have our XPOS software. I explain the features and benefits of how the software can make significant improvements to their retail business and arrange for one of our team to visit.
What can customers come to you for advice / help with?
I can help with anything from hardware specifications, to queries on quotes, or if an existing customer is moving shops - I advise them on the closing down process. I have noticed that we have been getting quite a few calls recently with regards to XCODES, XAPP, and our Business Health Reviews.
What's your favourite Crossover product and why?
My favourite product is XPOS: the software is unique containing many advanced features which are invaluable to a golf retail shop, this makes my job when speaking to new Pro’s enjoyable and positive experience.
Explain how working with Crossover Technologies benefits its customers
XPOS really does make a difference to a Pro’s day to day life. Speaking to a customer several months after they have had XPOS installed, it’s always satisfying to hear how it has helped them. This comes in many forms, including freeing up enough cash to pay for a new swing room, to just allowing them to spend less time in the shop.
What developments are you most looking forward to over the next 12 months?
I am looking forward to seeing the exciting new Product Screen changes for XPOS that our development team are working on – not long now! I am also currently working with some clubs that are in the process of changing EPOS systems and looking forward to seeing them coming on board.
Tell us something about yourself we don't know!
I attended college in Watford, Hertfordshire where Andrew Ridgley and Shirlie Holliman from the 80’s pop band Wham also attended - they were a year above me. I always remember them being fun and singing in the games room. They spoke of being in a band, then out of the blue they left and the rest is history.
