Whizzy Updates to XPOS on their Way!

So, here’s the bad news. Storm Ali is set to hit the UK this week, bringing heavy rain and high winds. Not great for outdoor sport, but we're hoping happy news of improvements to XPOS will brighten up your day.

The latest updates to your software will happen automatically, when you switch on this week.  You should see several new functions: most of which are fairly exciting, and will almost certainly make retailing more fun.

  • Firstly, you can now edit stock levels, cost price and sales price for DELIVERED STOCK INS, and the system will correct all historic sales, giving you more accurate margins and Average Cost Price.
  • We've now integrated the CREATE ORDERS function and made it more visible for users. This screen (below) enables you to ditch the usual paperwork for order creation; and makes Stocking In super quick, by updating the stock levels automatically, once the order arrives.
  • You'll never run out of key stock items with the newly improved REORDER WIZARD. Once set up with minimum levels, this whizzy wizard automatically creates new orders based on low levels.
  • Along the bottom of the screen, you’ll also notice 2 new filter buttons. The ‘3-cube’ denotes RANGE view, and gives you an overview of stock levels, or not sold foritems; while the ‘single cube’ button gives you ultimate detail at VARIANT level. Switching between the two will give you the detail you need to make the best decisions for your business.


  • SECURITY can now be enabled and I’d recommend a quick phone call to our customer service team on 01454 418395 to go through the options best for your business.
  • Previously in XCODES, where correcting manufacturer typos or barcode mistakes meant having to download the items againthis new update means corrections will be automatically made. So, there’s no need to re-download any stock items. XCODES will continue to update and correct items, even after they’ve been downloaded!
