Pro Shop Tips for Masters Week


It's Masters week: Golf's first major tournament of the year and the official start of the golfing season.

For the "Masters of Retail", and pro shop owner managers, it's all about promoting NEW stock. Merchandising and advertising are key this week, and if the weather means a slow start, think about using social media or emails to let members know about new stock in store.

During April, look to run regular reports from your epos system to track what is, and isn't, selling. In XPOS, this would be going to Recommended Reports and running the Weekly Sales Analysis which would break sales down by sub-group, enabling you to see what's flying out the door... and which stock needs an extra push.
