Crews Hill Golf Club, a Harry Colt course, is a friendly private members club in North London with around 400 playing and social members.
Katie Fickling and her father, Lee, have run the Professional shop since 2016, also dealing with tee time bookings, green fees and societies.

The Challenge
Katie and Lee had been using their previous epos system for many years but had started to realise that their system was not really giving them anything more than end of the day “cashing up” reports. Going into 2015, they decided it was time for a change and a new, modern solution that would help boost profits and grow their business.
How we responded
Katie asked us for a demo having heard about XPOS from other golf pros and the Foremost buying group. From our first contact it was clear she required a solution that would both be easy to move to and take her stock management to the next level.

“I knew straight away it would be easy to move to XPOS. It was easy to get up and running and once installed I was talked through how to use XCODES to update it with our existing stock in preparation for the initial onsite training.
“It really helped to have someone go through the process over a couple of consecutive days, which meant I was using it in real time when people were in the shop buying and when I was ordering stock.”
So, after a year of using the software, what impact has XPOS had on their business?
“XPOS cuts our admin time letting us spend more time front of house, talking to customers.
“Having XCDOES is also fantastic. It let me quickly update XPOS with the full manufacturer product details of our existing stock items. I reckon it has cut our product creation time in half and boosted the quality of our stock data no end.”
